Leap Day Schedule

3:15-3:30  Announcements
3:30-4:30  Chapbook Manufacture
4:30-4:45  Break
4:45 -5:45 Chapbook Reading
5:45-6:00  Assignments (Looking Forward)

We are making the chapbooks in an edition of 10 today. If you want to make more than 10, save your master copy and make them later. You will give me two at the end of class, and you can do whatever you want to do with the other eight. I suggest you swap them with classmates, but you can also give them to other people--such as loved ones--or leave them on the bus, or droplift them somewhere else. It's up to you!

Follow these steps:

1. Make dummy
2. Number pages in pencil
3. Number corresponding text/image blocks
4. Lightly tape pages in proper place
5. Remember to include a colophon
6. Check to make sure pages are in the right order/orientation
7. Take it to the Xerox machine in the student lounge
8. Carefully fold the booklet forms
9  Carefully staple from out to in two staples on the saddle
10. Slit edges (2) to open
11. Use other elements if applicable

Time to read!
