Read these three essays from the ubuweb.com site for Thursday:

2)  Rothenberg: Ethnopoetics at the Millennium
3)  Snyder: The Politics of Ethnopoetics
Also: Choose one entry from the Soundings, Visuals, or Poems section, and be ready to talk about your reason for choosing it. I would recommend writing it out as a paragraph. Contextualize your choice along the contours of the Poetics Off the Page course, Think of this as a dry-run for your annotated Top-10 list due the following week.
